From Dom. Rep. / iphone6s plusCovers all the basesI like that it is not focused on one discipline. It’s motivational too. His other podcast Florida Uncut is a great listen for people interested in Florida.

Short Hair HippieThe best out thereThis is the best outdoor storytelling podcast available…

B. MoeI love this show so much.I highly recommend this show if you have any interest in the outdoors. The stories of exotic journeys and life changing treks are well worth listening to, but I was surprised by what moved me most. My favorite episode (so far because there are so many I haven’t listened to) was with Alastair Humphreys. It really got me to rethink thought patterns of mine. I have a 9-5 type job and I spend so much of my time fantasizing about my next big trip. But the episode caused me to reflect on the idea of a micro adventure. Since then I’ve been focused on exploring my area, and learning to be more present rather than constantly existing in a future state that’s months away. While I do look forward to the big adventures I have planned, I’m also excited about exploring my city/state on my days off. I’ll say it again: I love this show so much, and I still have hundreds and hundreds of episodes to listen to!

Denton SutherlinLove this podcastThis podcast has become one of my favorites. I wish I had discovered it years ago!

Kenny do it?RelatabilityLongtime listener. Listening to the podcast episode with Randy now. Note: I’m a friend of Scott Miller of Mississippi canoe fame (good episode). It’s been fun listening to Randy’s stories and identifying with them. I’m Mr. Average 63 year old guy but have made it a point to try to do and see as much of the world as I can afford. 😄 Kilimanjaro, Aconcagua, Elbrus, Machu Picchu, Everest BC and others. I love hearing about other “average Joe” adventures. Keep up the good work! Ken

kozausFavoriteThis is in my top 3 for podcasts. I’m still working on catching up on episodes, and it gets me through the workday. I’m not sure what I’m going to do when I’m all caught up

jkf890Ep. 919Huge fan of this podcast, great guests but I love Mason’s laid back style and sense of humor. Ep 919 was awesome, great to hear Mason on the other side of the mic and his smooth storytelling

Terminally WillInspiration to do something great! This is a great podcast! The stories are very inspirational and make these adventures seem within reach for anyone. You just have to choose to go and make it happen. Great stuff. I look forward to more!
-
HockenbockerOne of my favoritesThis has been a great go-to podcast! The guests are fairly diverse and come from many backgrounds disciplines, but are consistently compelling and inspiring. Mason, the host, is relatable and easy to listen to. This podcast provided a lot of the inspiration I was looking for to go out and bikepack the Colorado Trail. And it’s just fun listening to all the crazy things people are able to do.
-
TkrMcCartyGreat showThanks for opening up the the adventure world to us.

brian63089Love the stories, better interviewer desperately neededI enjoyed this podcast for quite awhile until I realized how many times Mason says “That’s too cool” or “Wow, that’s awesome” an episode. It’s the go to reply. Once I noticed this tic it’s really driven me away from this podcast. Not only is it so frequent it detracts from the listening experience, it’s leaving so much of a conversation off the table. This podcast needs someone who can carry an insightful conversation both ways to keep the listener engaged. Loved this show for quite awhile I just can’t do it anymore.
-
veggiecat1290Very irritating podcastersI’m not clear why this is so popular. One episode I’m on, these two are almost 10 mins in and haven’t said a single thing about the topic. They’re still talking about themselves. This is not one I’ll listen to - there are better scary story/mystery ones out there.
-
McLemoresam30Rekindled the adventure bug!Great show with a wide range of adventures of folks of all ages and backgrounds.
-
tech302Loud ads are annoyingCan you please adjust the volume of your ads. Don’t know how much more I can take.

Dr D M FFantastic at making me daydream for adventureI stumbled onto the podcast when looking for an interview with Beau Miles. I love the show and I am now mainlining old episodes. With the Covid pandemic still restricting travel, etc, I found this podcast to be incredibly inspirational and thought-provoking when it comes to my own outdoor activities.
-
jugsbcjcksNeed new contentWhat’s with all the revisited episodes. It’s getting old.

Kaitlin768Amazon Woman book please!!Love this show so much especially the most recent episode with Darcy. Let us know what publishing company and I’ll write a letter letting them know how quickly I’d buy her book!

ebreezy92Amazing storiesMy favorite show to get inspired for my next adventure
-
Msgonz28Inspiring stories!Absolutely love this podcast and have been listening for the past year. The hosts are great and I love the variety of guests who share their stories on adventure and travel!
-
kevinkel1970Great topics, shallow interview questionsI love the subjects and their adventures but I wish the interview questions were more in depth and exploratory rather than being so elementary. It’s as if the target audience is naive urban dwellers rather than Adventurers

SephorafanMarco Siffredi-snowboarding down Everest💥wow💥can’t imagine snowboarding down Everest once!!! And then going again!!! That was the quickest hour listening to his story!!!
-
Fostering JoyInspiring for adventure lifestyleI am a life long adventurer, that had to redefine what adventure looks like as a working mom of 3. I really appreciate the broad array of what is possible, and reminding me of the spectrum of adventure opportunities. Heidi Dusek Ordinary Sherpa Podcast

Hiker HankAdventure for everyoneGreat life stories from inspiring adventurers. If your lifestyle is defined by spending every moment you can outside, then this podcast is for you!

michellemdonovanr/t Sophie MasttersonLoved hearing about her adventure, but Mason was weak in his ability to get to the GUTS of Sophie’s journey! Also, I just HAVE to say to Mason, MICHIGAN is an incredible state!! Full of adventures galore; Sand Dunes, the great lake, Upper Peninsula; woods and scarcely populated Midwest mountains, urban areas full of culture & history, rural areas insanely lush, and so much United States history! I’m not from Michigan, but I have lived there and visited; I was really shocked with your comment to Sophie about “you hoped she had seen more of the US than just Michigan because there were so many other great places that were so much better”. Really, it made you come off as a doofus. It’s contrary to what I thought your show would represent, which is to me, finding the beauty in every space on our beautiful planet Earth!
-
TheKrusesSo positive, so inspiringMason is a wonderfully gracious man and a humble host. And his guests are near-superheroes. This is a consistently great listen.
-
colely_ZEnjoyableI love the stories shared in this podcast, they are very interesting and keep me listening all day. But one of my favorites is rafting through the Grand Canyon. I enjoyed listening to Heather and having her share her story of rafting on the Colorado River. She reminded me of my own river trips at the age of 17 when I went through the Grand Canyon and it brought back many memories and lots of fun times. Definitely a huge thanks for her sharing her story!
-
CwamneVery inspiringThis is such an amazing podcast to listen to. Very laid-back and candid interviews. It really has me inspired and ready to get back competing myself. Amazing stories, I really recommend tuning in.

tragusWould be so much better with more prep and fewer ad breaksInterviewer generally sounds as if he's minimally prepared for the interview, and hasn't got a plan in place, which is unfortunate. If you're interviewing someone with encyclopedic life experience like Lin Pardey, you have to prepare. You have to know a LOT about her so you can guide the flow and focus of the interview and podcast, and not end up off in the weeds, missing the key insights. If you're interviewing Amie Begg, it's not funny if you keep mispronouncing a simple name like "Maranon"; it just makes you sound unprepared. You cannot over-prepare for these interviews. But you can interject way too much of your own uninteresting life experiences. And unannounced ad breaks really destroy the flow of the podcast.

Explore Adventure LabInspirational and FunI’ve been listening to the Adventure Sports Podcast for a few years now. I love hearing the wild stories of other individuals, and some of the amazing things they have done. It gives me new ideas, and inspiration for new trips and adventures. This podcast is great because it gets you thinking outside of the box it makes you realize there anything is really possible when it comes to getting outside and making things happen. Thanks again for everything you guys do. Happy Trails!🙌🏼🏔🌲🍁🏜🏕

Michelle in WIAmazing & InformativeGreat podcast that I look forward and many old episodes to listen to. My most recent favorite books came after listening to interviews on the podcast. Looking forward to more inspiring content.
-
wendyfromwashdcWendyWonderful, inspiring podcast and I’d like to try that alcohol free craft beer Could you please ask your guests more about what is in their pack for food/food planning? For example the ultra long runner—-does he just not eat? And the cross country biker shared not to eat too much chili but what did he pack to take him those four days thru Texas desert for example...
-
L.andeLove it - posts to oftenI love the stories, Mason does a fantastic job. I wouldn’t mind if we had a new pod once a week or every other week instead of twice a week. Love the show though. Just can’t keep up with it.
-
GreggoPWNVery Refreshing!Great stories of adventure outdoors. I love the content, and it makes me wish I could get outside!!!
-
rcinncLost a listener with this episodeI listen for the adventure stories. You were really punching above your weight here on this one. Adventures are chosen. Having COVID-19 is not. It’s hubris to think that your role here is to teach people how to deal with hardship. Your stories are good. The distraction they provide would have been helpful. This soliloquy was presumptuous and unhelpful.

Mr M-I-DoubleL-A-RGreat Adventure InspirationListened to this show for a few months now, and am totally addicted. Great interviews, great guests, great inspiration. Makes me want to quit my job, get out there and have the adventure of my life. Helps ease the pain on a trail run too!
-
the_anxiousAdventurerBest podcast ever!!!Listen almost every day at work. Mason is such a incredible interviewer and a genuine person. The show is inspiring and makes you want to go adventure! Recommend highly!
-
hobonorthHit or missTwo hosts, one asks good questions and dives into good conversation, the other is crap. Way too many “revisited” episodes and annoying product plugs.
-
Dziedzic11Awesome content!Found this podcast yesterday and I’m now trying to calculate how long it’ll take to listen to all 600+, super inspirational and some great people!
-
be•intentionalThis is such an inspiring podcast!I really love this podcast. I seriously inspires you to do more and really savor it when you are on an adventure.
-
JenfjfI'm an addict!I absolutely love listening to this podcast. I look forward to every new one. I love Mason's style and am inspired and have planned and executed many adventures as a result of listening to the show! Thanks for quality, wholesome, inspiring material. I think your show does what our society needs right now....encouraging more people to get outside, take care of the outdoors and find adventures. Love the show!
-
borrowedeye@finding_adventure191I started a Facebook group to document my adventures and mentioned I wanted to canoe the Mississippi River at some point. I was recommended your podcast since a guest of yours had done just that. Looking forward to working towards my goals and documenting them on our page Finding Adventure.
-
Jae.LunaGreat PodcastI love this podcast. They always have great stories about the outdoors!
-
!@!@!@!@!Overall a great show!Great podcast. My only complaint is that the intro is way too long! 7 minutes sometimes!! I understand you have to highlight the sponsors, but then it just gets rambling. Just get to the guest already. Otherwise, great show, nice variety of guests, good interviewing skills, and long enough to feel like you get a good feel for the guest.
-
Cbrody2008Death Valley escapeThe death valley escape episode was a great listen, super inspiring, shocking and well told tale, thanks for sharing!
-
LaTortuga92Great escape from desk workBeen listening on and off for a couple years. During a 2 year stretch of monotonous 70 weeks of desk work, this podcast provided a great escape while I was planning an AT thru-hike. I prefer to pick and choose episodes. Good mix of realistic everyday folks who do cool stuff, and insane super athletes who I’ll never come close to. I’d compare it to just having a good convo with an interesting person. In addition to escapism during boring mechanical work, also great for long runs/hikes and during workouts.
