    Abraham Lincoln
Abraham Lincoln was an incredible president, not sure why Hollywood , the left, or these podcasts feel they have to write their own feelings into these podcasts. “Abraham Lincoln might have been a homosexual “ please I’m so sick of this being pushed into our society. You lost me for good! Dan

    Awesome, well done and engaging
After listening to a few podcasts of similar types, I found myself wanting one that was more factual without political leanings and this was it. The hosts do an excellent job speaking and explaining the stories. Love it so far!

    Loved it!
This podcast is both interesting and informative. I learned so much while having a good time!

    Slapped together
This podcast seems slick, but it is slapped together with healthy doses of political lecturing throughout.

    Relaxing and Educational
This podcast dives deep into the lives of people that have impacted our history. It’s worth listening to their soothing voices to let the time pass on those long drives. It’s become a favorite.
  • Count von baron
    Sir Barkis Maximus.
Political. Not historical. Wikipedia of historical podcast.

    Almost five but ?
Great lessons and narrators and would be five stars minus the poor production quality. Badly done fake battle noises or baby cries etc just take me out of the story unnecessarily and disappointingly. That said ? The storytellers are solid and they hit most of the high points and it’s worth listening too despite the badly done sound effects

Albert Einstein,Marie Curie, The Wright Brothers, Stalin and others
Excellent, I enjoy these as I drive, do house work, anytime that I am not able to sit and read. I have truly enjoyed each one, I cannot pick a favorite!

    Great info!
I apparently didn’t pay attention in history class so this is a fun way to make up my lessons. 😂 They are informative, to the point and great story tellers.

    100%
Would give 20 stars if I could! They pick such interesting characters to cover & deliver so many facts, but keep your interest the entire time. Well researched, well delivered, & love the hosts.
  • george lovecraft
    Inaccurate
They said hernan Cortez was a horrible monster who slaughtered thousands of “innocent” Aztecs those thousands were bloodthirsty warriors who would regularly kidnap people from other tribes to take as sex slaves or for human sacrifice he conquered them to end these horrific practices and bring the light of Christ they also got the stories of queen Elizabeth’Galileo and Colombus wrong if you like secular historians you enjoy this but for those of you who distrust them don’t bother also they glorify Joseph Stalin a dictator just as bad as Hitler just a bunch of Woke movement nonsense by the way Christopher Columbus himself never enslaved any Indians nor did he murder any sadly he did allow slavery among his crew members but he never took part in it

    Excellent!
Beautifully done! This educational treat always mixes little known with the most important historical facts. Love the hosts, writer’s captivating stories and the commentary. Excellent

    Love it
I do enjoy these lessons in history and historical figures. I do think the speakers alternate a bit too frequently; suggest they speak for a minute or two before switching.

Love the show but dislike the voice “acting”
I LOVE THIS SHOW but the voice acting is so horrible that it kills the experience. The voice “acting” makes the show more cheesy than fascinating. I liked the show so much better when it was just the hosts.

    Historical Inaccuracies
Started with the Queen Victoria episode but turned it off due to historical inaccuracies. For example, Albert was never king he was Prince Consort.

    One of the best!
This is one of my go-to podcasts. I listen to a variety of topics but when I want to listen to something historical, I go to Historical Figures. Carter and Vanessa provide a surprisingly deep dive and share little known facts in an entertaining format

    Famous Fates Bias Researchers
Not impressed with podcasts inaccuracies and biased statements and points. Also the voice actors sound over the top and annoying. Not worth my time

    We Need More
Please give us more episodes! There are so many other historical figures worthy to highlight. There are numerous contemporary figures who are shaping history - for good or bad - right now. We are living through history-making times in 2929. We need more of these podcasts!!!! You could easily market them as supplemental educational tools for harried parents and bored kids living through this era of home schooling. WFH (working from home) people would appreciate new episodes as they work between the dreaded Zoom meetings. We need this podcast now more than ever!!
  • plisas
    Always the bias showing
If you are looking for real history this podcast is not for you political bias and the hosts views always evident.

    Exhausting
If you like your historical biographies with a dose of social justice........

    Stay with your brand
I subscribe to plenty of political podcasts and listen to them when I see fit. Today I tried to tune in to Gone and saw that all of my regular podcasts were hijacked by presidential intrigue. All of them. I didn’t even listen; the title was enough to turn me away.

This was my first podcast I listen to fully. It is so good that I cannot find another one like it. Historical figures is phenomenal. I would love to hear more podcast on famous women.

    EXCELLENT!
    I absolutely love this podcast!!!!!
  • Jrzbarb
    Cringeworthy pronunciations
The podcast itself is decent, but the pronunciations of names are dreadful. Have just listened to Marie Antoinette and their attempt to say the word dauphin is embarrassing. They pronounce it “doo-fah” when it should be “dough-fan”. This is just one example of many mangled pronunciations. Isn’t someone available at Parcast that can check on this before episodes are recorded?

I have enjoyed every episode so far! The research and information relayed is interesting and the presenters voices are easy on the ears and keep my attention the whole time. Thank you!

Can you please stop giving your political opinion??! Some of us just want some history and biography without your obvious left leaning opinions.

    More people of color
Love these podcast but would like to hear more stores with people of color. How about Malcolm X, Medgar Evers, or Bessie Smith. Also not sure why you guys are advertising series that are only available on Spotify. Not going to pay for yet another service when I should be able to hear those series on Apple.
  • K9Rush
    No Spotify
This is a great podcast but I don’t want Spotify. They always use to be on apple. Now I only get one. They also keep changing their name. Go back to original Thanks

    Rewriting History
While listening to the Burr podcast I was disturbed by the rank bias or at best ignorance. They used the label of republican party instead of democratic party when referring to the party of of Burr and Jefferson. I believe the correct party name was Democratic Republican. The current Democratic party can trace its history back to it. The current Republican party was founded in the mid eighteen hundreds. Another case of liberals attempting to rewrite history.
