Fox Sports host and comic Rachel Bonnetta (“Lock It In”, “@Buzzer”) and comedy writer Rachna Fruchbom (“Fresh Off the Boat”, “Parks and Recreation”) are here to share their love for two things: sports and DRAMA. Sure, they obsessively root for Cleveland (the Browns and the Cavaliers, respectively), but they get even more excited by those crazy moments in sports that become almost legendary. We all know the sensationalistic scandals about cheating, gambling and sex, but Rachel and Rachna want to discover the humanity behind the headlines. That’s why they started Hall of Shame -- every week Rachel and Rachna will take each other through some of the biggest scandals in sports, from the thrill of Dock Ellis’ acid fueled no-hitter on acid to the agony of Rosie Ruiz’s fake Boston Marathon win. With humor and a healthy dose of perspective, they get to the bottom of what exactly went down, why these stories matter, and how they’re still relevant today. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll feel more invested in sports than you ever thought possible.

I miss them

So, I don’t like sports. At all. Don’t play em, don’t watch em. But who doesn’t love a good scandal story? I love this podcast. It’s one of my favorite. Rachel and Rachna do such a great job. They tell each story with humor and compassion and I’ve learned a lot by listening. I miss them. I really hope they come back some day.

Off hand Mormon comment

Listening to the Manti Te’o episode. Why, from the get go, does the host need to make a general negative Mormon comment. Nice way to lose your audience. Manti’s religion is multi faceted and is clearly behind much of what makes him good.

I just recently found out that this podcast wasn’t returning, and I’m devastated. These two ladies brought their A game to each episode and always left me wanting more. Hopefully you find your way back, because you were by far the most entertaining sports talk duo (and I listen to a lot), and you found the best stories, and were amazing story tellers.

i’m so, so bummed to learn hall of shame isn’t being renewed. i love this show! the storytelling aspect is my favorite. i like crooked’s other sports pod too but takeline is long with multiple segments, focused on current events/sports issues. hall of shame is short, fun, and combs history for wild stories. BRING IT BACK! PLEASE!

Amazing Podcast!!

I stopped listening to podcasts during the pandemic because I was no longer commuting. Then I picked them back up and decided to start this one from the beginning because I’m already a fan of crooked media. Best. Choice. EVER!!!! These girls are hillarious, engaging, thoughtful, and so many other wonderful things. I’ve laughed, I’ve cried, I’ve cringed, I’m so sad I’m all caught up cause I live for Monday’s when I get to listen to the new episode! WHEN IS SEASON 2 STARTING??!!

My most listened-to podcast, by far!

Rachel and Rachna are a fabulous team on reporting on some of the craziest sports scandals throughout history. I have made multiple members of my family listen to several of their episodes. I’ve been anxiously awaiting more episodes...and hopefully some will be coming? Soon?!

It’s like a Barstool Sports JV team

But the ambition of this pod seems solely focused on manufacturing a wacky fun take at every turn. It comes up short in the narrative telling of the events leading up to the incidents in each episode. I liked in the Malice episode when they didn’t even mention Ben Wallace’s reaction to Ron Artest’s foul. I mean NBD it only set off the ENTIRE incident at the Palace but whatevs. I’m just saying none of these stories are new - they’ve all been done to death - so if you’re gonna be a latecomer, maybe don’t be worse on the basics. The stories are a flimsy premise for the host to share their labored irreverence and ‘makin it fun for the fellas’ grossness. I’m not sure who told them to hang onto that valley girl cadence 10 or 15 yrs out of colleg, but it’s cringey after a certain age. Why does Crooked even have this in their portfolio? I could see Lovett signing off on a Secret Base pod because they’re INFINITELY more on point and on-brand for Crooked.

As a non-obsessive sports fan, I wasn’t sure about this one, but I have so enjoyed this! The insane scandals and refusal to take itself (and sports) too seriously, have been so refreshing and fun. Looking for to season 2!
