Exploiting Advocacy For Profit

I had high hopes for this platform, given its mission to advocate for victims. Unfortunately, my experiences have been nothing but disappointing. Each time I reached out with a request to share my story—a story of survival that deserves to be heard—I was either met with a flat refusal or asked to pay for the opportunity to speak with her. Monetizing support and advocacy feels exploitative and disheartening, especially from someone who claims to champion survivors’ voices. True advocacy should be rooted in empathy and genuine support, not a price tag. This experience has not only made me step away from the podcast but also question its true intentions.
