WL Ratinga MUST listen to podcastI was at a point of my life where I was deciding if I wanted to be sober. After 2 episodes in, I decided that I needed to be sober for myself. I am still in the early stage of my sobriety journey, but this podcast has kept me positive and inspire. I am able to connect to a lot of the content and Jesse keeps it real, that has been very helpful. Thank you, Jesse, you changed me!

PeteSacksInterestingI’ve been listening to this show for a while after getting complacent in my recovery having over 11 years clean and sober. There are a lot of good topics discussed. The only reason I took off a star is that there have been a couple topics discussed that I think are dangerous to an addict mind (like using drugs to help with addiction). This guy does not refer to himself as an addict, does not do much (if any) AA, but has a lot of knowledge, fully supports recovery programs like AA and has a good, upbeat personality. I appreciate shows like this that have opened my mind yo concepts I’ve never considered, too!

mom dizleSmart, Relevant, FunnyI found this podcast when I was managing a very difficult time with my adult son who was deep into his addiction. Even as a parent, Jesse's wise words and knowledge on addiction and his ability to make sense during a very chaotic time has been a lifesaver for me. This podcast is a must for anyone who struggles with addiction and/or recovery or their family members. Bravo, Jesse!

NO MO MJTHE BEST SOBRIETY PODCASTI’ve tried quite a few sobriety podcasts but this is by far the best. He talks in plain language and gives good explanations. Others go too deep into cognitive science and don’t leave a lot for the listener to take away or they talk too much about themselves. I’m so glad to have found this one!

Sailing KateOur stories are so similarI listened to your show about your story at 2001 days sober. I can relate a lot to everything you experienced. Your show is so important to many many many people. Thank you for creating this platform for people like me to listen and relate. Super grateful!

jlee8686Absolutely the bestI’ve listened to every recovery podcast out there and this one is my absolute favorite. The topics really resonate with me and I often listen to the same episode multiple times just to really absorb the info or just as a refresher. I got this tip from another reviewer but I also starting taking notes and it’s been a game changer. So grateful for this podcast. Good luck everyone~ ✴️Ps. I don’t understand anyone that would leave a 1-STAR REVIEW on a recovery podcast! If you don’t like it, just don’t listen to it because you’re literally encouraging the podcast host to stop creating FREE CONTENT that is obviously helping others.

BardowalkerLike A BlessingJust tuned in to Jesse’s podcast after having subscribed years ago, and I am finding it a blessing. In my work as a transformational life coach working with addiction, chronic depression and PTSD, I am blessed Jesse has found a way to share critical and needed knowledge about surviving in recovery. I am now going over every episode, from the beginning, taking notes and learning. Every episode has jewels for myself and my clients which are applicable immediately. Thanks, Jesse. You’re the man!

Shixa101Food for thought and moving forward in sobriety!I’m about 8 episodes in and have found jewels of advice in each episode. Looking forward to catching up and listening to all. I’ve learned to keep a notepad by my side so I can write things down I want to remember! I think you don’t have to be in sobriety to benefit from this. Very motivating!

My Own ContractorSexist and OCD Based RecoveryNot everyone has to hit rock bottom and reinvent themselves. Most of us don’t have great ambitions, podcasts, TV deals and Holywood lifestyle waiting for us if we can just wake up from cocaine and alcohol induced coma. Most of us live crappy boring lives, working 9-5 at Walmart and hate ourselves by the time we hit 40s. Then you get your tooth implant and you get some Vicodin and you’re like: “Wow, this feels awesome, I wasn’t this happy in years” Then you feel good when you take it, and feel crappy when you don’t. When you get off it completely, you go back to your crappy Walmart 9-5 life that you hated with passion. There’s no Holywood deals and amazing new horizons that await most of us when we stop, Just sad old life we were trying to escape in first place. I’m like a big majority of people who was never fully addicted, never lost control of my life , but occasionally get high and want to stop...make better choices. Live healthier lifestyle. Host is addictive and obsessive compulsive personality. He replaced one addiction with different ones to fill his time. If you’re a type of person who can replace smoking joint after work with running 10 miles or writing a book, whatever it is...this is a place for you. He totally lost me at episode 2 with: “I’m awesome, I’m always on time. I open my Google Maps and stare at it for an hour before I leave, in case traffic changes” TOTALLY PSYCHO AND SEXIST! I also live and work in LA. I don’t know a single person who does that. Never heard of one. I’ll do it if I’m having meetings of life importance, but if I’m going to my buddy’s to watch game...I’ll show up at some point, or not at all, who cares? I’m definitely not staring at my maps for an hour to make it to pregame show...that’s just psycho. Some people are on time some people are late...mostly WOMEN! I dated a few dozen women in my life and almost all of them were always late. Hotter the girl, longer you will wait. (Just like Hot/Crazy graph Barney explained Ted in “How I Met Your Mother”...true story) Not sure what host’s sexuality is, nor I care, but if he ever waited for attractive women to get ready for party he would never say nonsense like: “There’s no excuse to be late” WHAT?!? I’ll give you 20 anytime. How about: I’m standing by the front door with car keys in one hand and Google Maps in other and I’m yelling: “COME ON ALREADY!” But she just can’t get that last curl right. When she finally does and we’re walking towards the car she remembers she was wearing those same boots last year, so we have to go back, and now she has nothing to wear, and starts crying...messes up make-up. Now we’re back to square one and 2 hours late. What do you suggest? Leave her and kids so I can make it on time to my friends stupid parties?!? I’m out.

Irishcolt94Very helpfulI’ve been sober for going on a year and a half. I found this podcast through another person in recovery and it has helped me tremendously in just the few days I’ve listened. I can’t stop listening. A lot of helpful information that I am grateful for.
-
adapperman90Great perspective on recoveryI’ve been sober now for 5 years (3/16/14) and I stumbled on Jesse on Instagram once I started to reach out from the halls to spread a message of positivity and recovery from addiction. It was easy to catch up on the podcasts prior because there’s a lot of good information on here. It’s another tool in my toolbox

Helpful1234Real and RawJesse Mogul is real and raw and shares all in his podcast. You can tell that he is both passionate about his subject because of the intensity with which he speaks about it and in the personal stories he tells, and yet he speaks so humbly about it in a way that makes it feel like he’s right next to you. The best part, there’s no judgement from Jesse! If you want a real person to tell you real stories of a real life thus far, definitely check this out!

newgroovesYou don't want to miss this.Jesse Mogle is the perfect person to lead a podcast on the topic of sobriety and recovery. He is authentic, personable and treats a very heavy subject with a light touch.
