    5 stars isnt enough!
What a gift DYMC is to the world! Every episode has been a blessing to me and so many others over the years and has only gotten better with age! Keep going! So many are experiencing Jesus and healing though these conversations! God bless the DYMC team!

    Insightful, Uplifting, Vulnerable & Practical
I always learn so much from this podcast, whether from Adam and Karissa or from the guests! I admire that there is always an underlying message of hope that is expressed because of the Christian background. Speakers are always vulnerable and that makes things much more real or relatable. Lastly, I always look forward to learning practical advice for my marriage, parenting, etc. I have been long a long-time listener, a MLDN member, and now I’ll be attending one of their in-person marriage conferences soon. I greatly admire Adam and Karissa!

    TOP FAVES!
Adam and Karissa and the DYMC podcast came into our lives at the perfect moment. My husband and I were struggling to get over what was one of the hardest seasons of our marriage…the wisdom they share on this podcast and through their social media platforms and monthly live date night, etc…are invaluable to us! If you haven’t tuned in yet…what are you even doing? 😆 You will be blessed by the conversations had here 👏🏼

    So thankful for this Podcast!
We are so thankful for this podcast! It has helped and blessed us so much into understanding balancing our marriage while raising kids. Many of the things echo in our heads as a reminder that marriage is spelled “W-O-R-K” and God will help us through even if there was a history of trauma or life event. Thank you for keeping this Christ-centered and inspiring us to keep Christ the center of our marriage! May blessing and favor rule over this program in Jesus Name!

Such a great tool for any married couple in church!❤️
My husband and I love all the tools your provide on working through common issues growing up in church or not! One of My favorite tools that we use often is learning to “fight well” as you guys put it! We both came from very broken homes and a broken example of how “fighting” in our marriage should go so thank you so much for all the help and continued direction you provide for your listeners! Love you both! -Fuentes family

    So Impactful - An Understatement!
So thankful for Adam & Karissa and their ministry through DYMC. From the podcast, to their virtual marriage retreat, to card decks, to monthly live date nights, they have gone above and beyond to provided resources for marriages to grow and flourish. Grounded in Biblical values and focused on holistically addressing the myriad of needs to couples from all different backgrounds, you have been a blessing to so many. Thank you for 5 amazing years so far! God Bless the King’s & DYMC!

    Church Hurt.
A MUCH NEEDED explanation about the scripture, touch not mine anointed. I so needed this. Thank you so very much. The entire episode was just amazing!!
  • Shannonomgthisapp
    Transformative and biblical!
Adam and Karissa dive into deep and popular topics filtered by the Bible. They challenge popular cultural beliefs by teaching their listeners to step outside of a self centric view of conflict, trauma, and much more. They truly share how to be victorious rather than fostering victimhood.

    Ads are VERY annoying
While the content of this podcast is worthwhile, the way that it embeds totally irrelevant ads into the middle of the podcast - sometimes interrupting it in midsentence - is EXTREMELY annoying. It is probably enough to keep me from listening to any further episodes. I know you need revenue, but there are other ways to do it.

    Phenomenal counsel
If you want practical yet powerful help from a couple that not only experienced tragedy and addiction but held together to make there marriage work than this podcast is for you. My wife and I have been helped by them and they we’re amazing. Just came back from one of their conferences and it was life changing. With the help of God and the willingness to do whatever it takes to make your marriage work, Adam and Karissa are a God sent.

    Insightful and Practical
DYMC is such a blessing to a marriage that seeks to fulfill a life modeled after a biblical perspective. So thankful for a diverse group of professionals and couples interviewed and sound advice offered time and time again. Thank you for devoting your life to honoring God’s kingdom and helping shape beautiful marriages!!!

    Narrow view of healthy relationships
If you and your spouse are both white straight republican Protestants, this podcast is probably great. Otherwise it will cause harm. They use stereotypes and generalizations. I would naively expect better from two therapists

A blessing this podcast has been
This podcast is amazing thank you. Have been married 35 years and has help us so much in our relationship the past year. Wish we had this long ago.

Why does this podcast come from a business podcasting company?
My question is in the title. This has confused me since day one. There has to be others asking the same question! Other than that- certain episodes are amazing! Others are not topics that are interesting to me but that’s ok- I really appreciate how descriptive titles are so that I know when it’s an episode that’s not really my jam. Overall, I love the flow and it’s an easy listen. I bought their card deck for having the talks with my kids and already have such deep conversations with my 4, 7 and 9 year olds directly because of content on this podcast.

    This podcast is amazing!
My husband and I started listening to this podcast while we were dating. It’s blessed our lives immensely! While Listening to other Christian Relationship podcasts or even YouTube videos about Christian relationships give me a lot of insight-it doesn’t compare to the rich insights and wisdom I get from you guys since you’re marriage counselors. Thank you for your ministry! God Bless you both. P. S. My husband and I got the cards you two sell as well and they’re great!

    Enjoying so far!
I first learned about you guys from Alex Clark’s podcast, the Spillover and enjoyed the episode very much! I was already intrigued for my own personal situation after hearing that but as you know putting off this kind of stuff is very common. After hearing Alex’s own therapy session with you and then starting on your podcasts from the very beginning, I have only become more interested in your words of wisdom. I will continue to listen to all your episodes until I am caught up although it may take a while. Thank you for sharing all this great knowledge! God Bless!
  • Psokansanj
    Alex Clark Episode
I follow Alex on Poplitics and the Spillover and was so intrigued to hear what a counseling session would be like from this couple. Thank you so much for being brave enough to share your vulnerability Alex! You are certainly not alone in those thoughts and feelings of being hypocritical or in feeling like you’re not a good enough Christian. It means so much to hear someone I admire be real and honest about her faith and how it can be a struggle at times. We love you and more importantly God loves you! And I know he has an amazing man in store for you. You are a wonderful leader and a positive influence to all those who follow you. You are changing lives for the better! I will keep you in my prayers! 💗

    Best marriage podcast
I love your podcast . Being newly married but together for 8 years , this podcast has been teaching me and my husband. We listen to one every week and talk about it at the end . There is so much content that gets to the heart of marriage and all the blessings around it . It’s taught me to look within myself and look towards the biblical perspective of marriage . As a new Christian as well I see now how much better God”s plans and will for marriage is . We are so much better for each other when we are serving each other and this podcast gives so much practical advice towards that ministry. Love what you are doing . Thank you so much

    A lotta bit culty
Please exercise caution and listen at your own risk. These folks are in a high-control group AKA cult. AVOID

    Special needs ep.
This episode was so helpful for me. As always I love your podcast and everything y’all talk about. I’m not a parent but I am a nanny for a downs little boy and hearing their take on how they parented Jackson was extremely helpful in how I change my mindset to him. Hearing them say some of the thoughts I’ve thought to myself as viewing him as just like any other child was very helpful. The special needs don’t define the kiddos they are just children of special needs. Loved the episode!

    Dear Brother in Christ episode…
That man is very well read in the Bible and is correct- it says in the Bible that women should not be above the man in the church. Why was it such a big deal what your title was? Sounds like Pride. Do NOT take the scripture out of context. do not add or remove God’s word. Women should teach women and children- not the Congregation. I also have a problem with her disappointment that the men didn’t cheer when she started to play music- remember the real reason you are playing music. Not for yourself. Not about you. Ugh this whole episode sounds mildly feminist- please reread the KJV Bible- it is the more accurate Bible according to Church History. Please don’t take offense- just do more reading and put your pride aside. No one cares about YOUR voice- only Gods.

    Such a needed podcast
I have been listening to this podcast for the past few months and it has been so helpful for my new marriage (I got married in July). By far my favorite episode was the one about the reunite tool with Dr. Wyatt Fisher. I listened to it about 5 times and shared it with my husband. We both loved this method and have adopted it for navigating conflict. It has revolutionized the way we walk through conflict and we are so thankful. I also loved the recent episode about navigating the holidays and the pain that can come with them. Adam and Karissa are very wise and I enjoy their duo episodes as much as their interview episodes. Thanks for this amazing podcast! I’ve recommended it to so many people!

    Love it!!
We got married in April of 2020, but started listening to your podcasts prob a month or two before that. They have been so beneficial to our relationship! I see other mid-aged couples that seem to struggle in communication, etc and it makes me SO grateful to have had good resources like DYMC early on in our marriage. Thank you so much!! Hopefully we can meet in person some day!

    Raw and real
I have been listening to your podcasts for over two years now and each one of them is so good! You touch very important topics in a marriage that many people avoid talking about. Also, no matter what the topic is, you always center it around Jesus and being a true Christian. God bless you both! You have helped so many people that you don’t even know!

    Our number 1 resource
My husband and I listen to the podcast during the day and discuss it in the evening. This podcasts has been an incredible blessing in our marriage. It is our number one resource when we have questions. We usually find the answers here or we find them in the linked resources. We are always recommending this to all our friends and neighbors.

    You SAVED us!
Thank you so much for these pod casts!! We are relatively new listeners and now hooked, such great content! We ordered Foundations cards and used them for the first time on a recent date night. What amazing and eye opening conversation this helped to initiate, even after 12 years of marriage. They worked so well to push us into very thoughtful, intentional talks while making it fun. We both struggle with having been raised in environments that shaped our feelings around money, relationship, etc. So many of your podcast have helped us “realize” many things, even things we didn’t think to bring up and have conversation about. You really are a “God-send”, God bless your ministry! We are spreading the word to our friends..and they are enjoying them as well! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! God bless! Erik & Rachael

    Pride Ad?
I’m confused. I thought this was a Christian Pentecostal podcast but there was a “pride” homosexual ad on one of the episodes. Unsubscribing.

    Very helpful and eye opening!
When I got married, I knew ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about sex and very little about marriage. This podcast has been so so helpful to me and my husband! I am going to make sure all of my friends have this resource! ❤️

    Loved the Boundaries Show!
Really enjoy many of your podcasts, but this last one about boundaries with Bro McKillop was awesome! Loved all the biblical parallels to marriage. Thank you for the work that you do.

    Keep up the good work!
I love this podcast and the diverse topics discussed... with numerous God-minded people all across the country. I’m currently far from my wife because of C-19, however, I am regularly fed by program. Keep up the good work. Lastly, the card packs - why not have the 3 as a combo? Just thinking out loud.

Perfect podcast to learn how to be successful at your marriage and thrive
Thank you guys SO much for the awesome content. I actually met you guys quite a few years ago in Oregon when you were engaged for a Bible quizzing thing. We met you at the Higgins house in Portland ha! Small world. Love you guys, my wife and I are gleaming a lot from your content and much needed transparency. Keep it up!

    Great Content
This is a need to listen to podcast for all couples. Very insightful and even in many ways empowering. Absolutely great content!

The married sex episode was a little much
Karissa’s constant response throughout the episode was distracting and far too sensual for my liking especially considering the topic :|
  • Soliloquy72
    All over the place
This is a young couple addressing young couples. So I guess it should be expected that they are, at times, all over the place. There are some great episodes full of careful, wise advice, and then there are some episodes where the advice is just plain not good. When they have a guest on, the hosts agree with everything the host says. This podcast needs more good discussion, not just nodding along with whatever author they happen to interview.
  • sew42mom
Perfect for more than just the Young Marrieds
I’ve started listening at the very beginning. I’m not the targeted demographic but still have thoroughly enjoyed and learned from each episode.

Great Prep For The Single Christian
I am currently single and heard this couple speak on the Girl Defined podcast. I was VERY excited to hear them discuss sexuality and how it plays a vital role in the church. I didn’t receive much info on this topic growing up. Now in my early twenties, I really enjoyed hearing them speak fearlessly about God’s perspective on sex. I decided to look into Dear Married Couple for more info and I am so glad I did! While I won’t be venturing into some of the more “detailed” podcasts until I’m married, I have found so much knowledge in their conversations about premarital life, what they wished they had known before marriage, and God’s true plan for sex. As I aim to intentionally prepare myself for marriage, I will definitely be listening to this podcast for more insight. Thank you for your amazing content!
