    Thank you
I love you guys; so helpful for parents of teens. I never miss an episode and so appreciate learning about what’s happening in the world of teens from a Christian perspective. 💙

    Helpful for parents!
I am very grateful for the culture translator and other Axis resources that aid me in raising my sons to be godly men in an ungodly culture. Thank you!

    Interesting and Informative
It’s nice to have a faith-based podcast about the culture that helps us think through things without telling us what to think. Easy to listen to and the hosts have a lot of interesting, variable takes on the subjects discussed. Highly recommend!

    Fantastic resource
I love how The Culture Translator makes me aware of things that I might not be otherwise. It takes modern trends related to my teenage boys and helps me understand them. I absorb the questions they ask at the end of topics to help me engage with them. Further, I appreciate the authors and influencers who they bring in to discuss their recent books.

    Helpful for youth workers
As someone who’s re-entering youth ministry after some years away, with my own kids all adults, I find this podcast helpful for understanding what’s influencing the youth with whom I’m working. I like the big picture approach of—engage them: ask them why such-and-such matters to them, what do they think about (fill in the blank), etc. This leads to understanding and connection. Thanks, Culture Translator!

Helpful for parents and relevant for teen thinking
Parents and teens will both enjoy the thought provoking questions to spark conversations about current events, culture, and biblical thinking. They also share explainer videos for topics that might interest teens. Definite necessity for modern parenting with a biblical worldview.

    Parents, listen up
I enjoy and benefit from this podcast with my teenagers and recommend it to my youth leaders at church.

Love it (it’s like “How2B cool weekly”)
This niche is exactly what I was looking for! Some one to tell me what’s trending. I’m a rizzler now!! Skibidi sigma.

    Helpful but…
I love this podcast. As someone who volunteers with teens at church, It help me feel more connected and aware of what is going on the world of gen Z at the moment. BUT-I often avoid the Deep Dive because I get frustrated with CJ because he often cuts off Hannah.

    Awesome resources!
I so appreciate the Axis resources and podcast discussions. The recent Deep Dive conversation (Billie Eilish album) helps me stay in touch with what’s going on in the world in an accessible way, also from a Christian perspective. One opinion of constructive feedback (imo): I felt that CJ was routinely interrupting Hannah to where she couldn’t finish her complete thought, and it was very distracting. I appreciate all of your work in equipping other believers through your resources! Thank you so much!

    Relevant and entertaining
I started following the show in December 2023, and I was skeptical at first. A Christian show that is fun and up with the times? Well, it is just that! I didn’t realize how much my own children and youth group are saying or talking about that I didn’t understand previously. Slang of the week, song of the week, weekly topics, deep dives…all super relevant. I love the various opinions and thoughts. Keep up the great work!

    Great resources!
This podcast is great for anyone who has teens in their lives and wants to stay up on what’s going on in culture today. Their website has great visual resources to use with the teens in your circle of influence and it’s all FREE!!!

    Helpful content
I am a middle school principal. I appreciate the information and discussions on topics relevant to the student I see. The podcast helps me understand better the perspective of a generation quite removed from my own. It also helps me think about my own stances on what students experience from a Christian point of view.

    Parent Gold
This is such a great resource for parents (or youth leaders/teachers/counselors) to connect with teens in meaningful ways. It’s also a great resource for just understanding teen culture from a non-judgmental Christian perspective.

    :)
I like this podcast especially the shorter episodes that are just facts but was a little disappointed in today’s Oppenheimer discussion I guess bc that movie is awful content-wise. I’m not saying it’s being promoted but if this is done from a Christian pov maybe a warning for listeners that it has sex, nudity (mostly of women of course), and language/GDs. I haven’t seen it, you can look it up on Kids in Mind. Maybe they covered this in the in-depth podcast months ago, sorry if so. I get not everyone thinks it’s wrong to view it (and maybe some forward lol) but maybe we could get an episode like should Christians view this type of content differently, not casually? It may be a good topic to discuss with our kids

The best content to help understand my teens world and how to deal with it
This content breaks down what teens are talking about. That in itself is helpful but then they take it a step further and share ideas for how to talk to teens about these things and how to open a spiritual conversation if possible. I’m a youth minister and a mom of a teen girl and this is GOLD for me!!

    Always appreciated
This podcast content is concise and well curated and very helpful for anyone parenting or working with youth today. The quick weekly recaps are helpful current event catch ups and the extended sessions give thoughtful deep dives. Please support their valuable work like we do!

    Such a blessing
Not only does this podcast inform me about the world my grandkids are in - all from GenZ – but also, it frequently is the greatest spiritual uplift and blessing and direction.

    Love this resource!
The podcast version of the culture translator is a great way to engage this info, stay on top of big ideas, and hear consistent Gospel-focused insights about the lives of our young people and this digital world.

    We love the Culture Translator
Having the option to listen to the culture translator, in addition to, or instead of reading the email, is nice to have!

Good Content, But Needs a New Host
Really great content, but the male host speaks in a VERY unnatural way. He sounds like a robot set to “nerdy voice” mode. In addition, his nasal congestion is too much to bear. This is a great podcast, but desperately needs a different host.

    Parents Need to Know!
I am overwhelmed with things to do and this podcast helps me feel better about my parenting because I can listen as I go! It has accurate, current topics our kids are faced with and it uses a biblical lens to view our culture and kids, so that we can be all that we were intended to be as parents-in-the-know that want to guard against the dangers this world pushes on us every day. I love it! Thank you Axis!
