Clooney FaceDefinitely worth listening toI can be really picky with the dnd podcasts I listen to, and I don’t normally stray from traditional high fantasy, however I’m extremely glad I did. This podcast has blown my mind with how well structured the story is, how the characters role play, and the various trials they face. If you want a dnd podcast that really has stakes, this is a great one. Also if you like hearing the mechanics to learn about the game, this show doesn’t cut a lot of that out. Highly recommend, and I very rarely write reviews so I suggest giving it a listen.

Team foster Keefe💜💜💜💜💜Epic Space OdysseyDo yourself a favor, give this podcast a listen!!! But beware- it will pull you right in like a black hole. Unparalleled world building! And not just one world, a whole universe full of worlds, fun tech/mechanics, and endless possibilities gloriously weaved into a live play, home-brewed D&D odyssey. Prepare to be launched into an endless expanse of amazement as you discover how the players are not only genuine and skilled but SO entertaining as well! Little slip-ups and fact checks happen and it only enhances the atmosphere of the live play and camaraderie which will draw you in faster than a Maxwell ship can fly. I kid you not- I laughed out loud, shed some tears, and jumped up and down with excitement while listening to this show. I mourned the ending of campaign 1 only to fall hard and fast for campaign 2 and am fully strapped in for campaign 3. Shoutout to my brother for introducing me to this phenomenal crew of adventurers and this devastatingly beautiful and vast universe which I cannot wait to keep exploring with the crew! Take a deep breath… get ready for some faster than light travel. I am not sure you’re prepared for this. I wasn’t. But what a ride!

Cable94Homebrew CrewOne of the best TTRPG live play groups I have the pleasure of listening to! You guys are great, and the metal vibes during intense situations a conversations is fantastic! Never change!
-
ju-katiLet’s a go I supposeSup grant I just have to say I want to see some random guy get some legendary weapon… no reason just want to see that
-
muffinprincessGreat show, but less BG music please!Love the show, and it’s been a fun addition to the line up. Only complaint is background music can get loud and takes away from the GREAT audio of the players!

about6bobcatsOne of, if not, the best live play D&D pods out thereSeriously. I was hooked from episode 1 of C1. Grant has such a fantastic way of getting the table to completely buy in to his immaculately crafted worlds. If you like DEEP plot lines that are all interconnected down to one off NPCs and a cast of some of the best D&D RPers you’ve ever listened to, then this is the pod for you. Listening to all the offerings The Homebrew Network has to offer made me a better player at my tables. Absolutely love this show and all the rest of the network’s content.

hsg8975SeasonGreat 2nd season I loved the first season can’t wait where the 2nd goes.

Ronnie RoscoStellar… just stellar!I do not rate or leave reviews often. I am just extremely captivated! The story telling, the roleplay, the group dynamic is all just to live for. I recommend this show to anyone who is a DND fan! You guys are one of my most favorite things right now! Keep it up!

Benjamin Paul's SonEpic StorytellingI just finished Season 1 … I am absolutely floored! Grant did an amazing job of storytelling. Just a brilliant story! The way the last episode “ended”. I’m speechless. From start to finish, the crew did a great job of staying true to their characters. They made it funny, serious, and everything in between. Thank you all for weaving a glorious tale. I look forward to what comes next!

JimmysamFun sci-fi pod!A great pod with a phenomenal sound scape

ClousehandsSome of the bestI don’t normally write reviews but I’ll do my best. The homebrew podcast was the flagship of an armada of some of the best podcasts I’ve listened to over the past year and a half. The pictures painted with their words alone and the talents they share will bring you to fantasy worlds full of lore and intrigue. You will laugh, you will feel like crying, smile when the crews are having good times and sit at the edge of your seat when things get intense. This tabletop rpg real play podcast sits at some of the highest in opinion, and deserve all the stars I can give on a simple review. Things don’t stop there. They also own a discord with a community full of some of the kindest, genuine people I’m glad I’ve had the opportunity to communicate with. I hope the review helps. Because every word was typed with honesty.

TLG100200It’s the best podcast I have ever listened toI love D&D and this podcast just got me more interested and all the characters are so creative and it’s sad that the first season comes to an end 😢

abby3373Thrilling, Edge of my Seat, StorytellingMy brother got me into this podcast shortly after we started our own campaign. I have not listened to another podcast since because I am not caught up with The Homebrew 😅 I absolutely love this podcast! This may be strange but Cody’s voice just gets me 😍 I absolutely love it! Everyone does an amazing job with the role playing and the story arcs are just incredible! This is everything a D&D podcast should be! Truly one of a kind!

siliniosWonderful story, fantastic RP!I started listening a few weeks ago when one of the players in another podcast I listen to shouted them out. I was all caught up on my current shows so I decided to give them a listen. This show got me so hooked so quick that I didn’t listen to a different podcast until I was all the way caught up. The story is thrilling, the RP moments are amazing, and they keep me on the edge of my seat wanting to hear what happens in the next episode every time!

bakeryclosedLove it!When I started listening to the homebrew it was due to my current D&D group was not lining up right, now I’m addicted. The story the Homebrew paints is a beautiful journey, I’ve laughed a lot, cheered for them, made notes for my own DM-ing, and only cried a few times… I love this show.

(>'-')>#Excellent twist on d&dThe setting, cast, and story are more entertaining than I originally expected. The cast and the story, really grow on you and the well thought out sci-fi setting fits very well with the d&d mechanics.

kitty kitty kitty cat cat catAmazing podcast! While I haven’t listened to much yet, the first campaign is right up my alley. All of my favorite things, fantasy, space, sience fiction, dystopian, and D&D, all rolled into one. It’s so fun to get to know all if the characters and their backstories as I go along. The lore is one of the best parts about the first campain in my opinion. It’s so interesting to see how the different factions react to the absence of new stars, and it’s especially fun to see how the party interacts with the factions. The characters are so enduring, and the role play is fantastic. All around a great podcast, and I recommend that any D&D lovers take a listen.

Miss PrissCImportant Data: It’s Spectacular! You may be thinking, a DND podcast? Why? That’s what I thought, in the before times… So, strap in and get ready for an amazing ride! You won’t regret it! I cannot thank my brother enough for getting me into this podcast. He had me listen to a snippet of my now favorite radio show “Galaxy 2 Galaxy Radio,” and I fell in love! The word building is spectacular. The cast is so down to earth and lovable. The characters are very well designed. The actual play is extremely fun. I have laughed out loud SO many times and experienced the full range of emotions. Even seeing amazing players like these make simple mistakes helps me to remember to go easy on myself help and get back to the love of the game. They are real people with spectacularly creative minds who have built an immersive and expansive universe and let us all jump in for a wild ride and a good time. “Artists, you know what to do!” ;) Love this show more than Nivitz loves omelettes! Grab a Green Gorgon and a grilled cheese and enjoy the ride! Thanks Grant, Austin, Cody, John, Tyrell! Points for inspiration!

LuxKageAn amazing world with amazing characters and storyThis is a d&d podcast unlike anything I’ve ever listed too. The players and DM are amazing, the world is rich and dark, the characters are well made and the stakes are soooo high. Give it a listen!
-
faeth_lessAmazing!The immersion in the world is amazing and the characters are the best. You’ll laugh, cry, get attached and maybe even make your own enemies but I wish I could give more than 5 stars.
-
VegasbrnBest podcast I’ve ever listened toBeing fairly new to the genre I wasn’t sure what to expect and these guys blew it out of the water. It’s funny, suspenseful and keeps you fully engaged.
-
manmoo mmmmqQuite literally the greatest podcastSimply amazing
-
DennTheFrenBest PodcastI have been listening to this podcast for the last few weeks at work. This show is the best podcast I’ve ever heard. You will laugh (a lot). You will feel emotions as the players make the characters feel alive. It is a great show I will keep listening till the end.
-
Angry Burrito EaterCan’t WaitThis is a fairly new up and coming D&D podcast. I started listening to supplement my other podcast I listen to while driving and at work, and they have not let me down. Started at episode one, and I’m now tearing through the episodes. I have really enjoyed hearing them find their characters as new arches develop. I really appreciate the DM, he does a wonderful job, and all the players are awesome people that make me laugh. It’s a fantastical world of wonder.
-
Nuke175Phenomenal ShowCan’t wait for more.

Jen12345678887654321Solid ttrpgThe voice acting and world building on this show are solid and really entertaining. I started listening on my dad’s recommendation and was definitely not disappointed. If someone is looking for a more rules heavy sci-fi dnd this is the show for you. BUT I will warn that it’s very male (I’m only on episode 20 so it may get better later). There was 1 female charter for 1 episode and I was really excited cause I thought it added a lot of depth to the show but she sadly had to stop cause of scheduling. I would love to see them add more diverse guests in the future
-
youknowwhoIam!!!!!HilariousI absolutely love this Podcast. Never before have I laughed so hard. This is very inspiring to an aspiring DM and I hope that I can grow to be as good as Grant. Thank you guys for supplying so many great hours of fun!
-
AnAnomymousReviewGreat, very fun show!Have been binging through the past couple weeks and love the show! I don’t play much D&D but the story is compelling enough without any of the play!
-
ThatKingA true partyThis podcast isn’t my first actual play podcast I’ve listened to, but before this one I steered away from Sci-Fi based adventures. After being recommended by NADDpod, I finally decided to check it out, and I cannot express enough how much I enjoy it. If a show can make me cry from laughter and sadness in the same episode, I have immense respect for it. Not only has that happened and more, but I’ve felt so invested in the story, characters, and worlds. Grant is an amazing DM, and the all 5 of the group are amazing collaborative storytellers. I absolutely cannot wait for more amazing adventures from the Crew!
-
TheNegativeGuyThe ChemistryYou can clearly tell they are real friends and not some of ransoms together…they build off one another…the role play is top notch…and the fights give you the adrenaline of use of actually playing…worth a listen!
-
Stunnah ShadesSolid ShowThe narrative and RP are thoroughly entertaining. Only about 15 episodes in, but great work so far, I’m sure the rest will be just as good. Keep up the good work guys.
-
dbellgo!Great work y'all! So much fun and great RP.
-
Kestrel3456I love the characters!Started off as something random to listen to.. Now I’m hooked on the story and attached to all of the characters!! So much fun to listen to and the RP is so fun! I’ve been listening for a long while now and I highly recommend that you give this a listen!
-
snowolphKeep them comingFrom ep. 0 till what is now ep.56 currently, I am on the edge of my seat. well worth the listen I tell everyone to download it and enjoy.
-
avil666Lots of funIt’s been really interesting for a person who’s never played to listen to people who are well versed in the game
-
Salter1978This D&D podcast!!This is a very enjoyable podcast with weekly episodes for download. Grant takes the DMing seriously, but not so seriously that the episodes feel like a slog. The players do a great job with their characters and are very knowledgeable of them and their capabilities! A great listen to for folks looking to find an enjoyable, fun D&D podcast full of adventure and high jinks!!
-
Jex AltoGreat Characters… the guys not just who they playGreat story. Even better humor. You forget it’s a game and just think it’s an epic adventure. With all the twists and turns of any book or movie. But with even more twisted humor
-
brasky07Top tier d&d podcast!Great story, great characters, well developed world, awesome players and DM. Discovered podcast about 30 episodes in and breezed through them all in a couple weeks. Been listening week to week ever since after that. Easy to follow if not too familiar w d&d but don’t dumb it down too much to lose authenticity. Explanations of rules and mechanics are great Keep up the good work, can’t wait to hear where the story takes us!
-
seabeesurfD&D in spaceThese guys make you laugh make you cry and keep you on the edge of your seat
-
morirage10/10I just started listening to your guys podcast not too long ago, currently on ep 13, and let me tell ya you guys have been helping me get through my workday! I’ve always loved dnd since I was in high school. Even home brewed one of my own characters, experimental void plasmoid of sorts who use to be a artificer mastermaker human. But anyways, I truly look forward to the continued eps that I have ahead of me! Keep up the great game guys! Would love to join some day if I could!
-
Joe banana 2AmazingThere are dnd shows out there where the players are voice actors, where the players are sincere, where the DM puts in a ton of work, and where the players are enjoyable to listen to. This show has ALL of that plus players and a DM who have high level knowledge of the rules and their characters’ abilities. If you’re looking for a show with sincere love of the game, the trifecta of enthusiasm for RP, combat, and the listener experience, AND high D&D IQ across the board, you’ve found it.

wnashif7.2/10, too much spaceIf anything happens to Nivitz, I’m uninstalling this app

10KproBest D and D podcastI know the amount of work and dedication you guys put into this story is crazy. Thank you. Was looking for a good d n d podcast and could only find groups of people talking over each other laughing way too much for no reason. This is full of beautiful magic, lore, story, and humor. I’m not a person who laughs a lot out loud but this podcast gets me hootin’ hoolerin’ and knee slappin so much that I’m onto my second cobalt full joint replacement. Thank you so much for real. So glad I saw your facebook advertisement. Too many great moments to summarize and not going to try to put an artistic spin on this review. You guys have melted my heart and I will follow you like a kool-aid cult leader. Say the word. You know what. I thought of something else to say. I know you guys read these. SPOILER and serious critique below : Grant you said one of biggest regrets was not killing Mordecei. I agree. You should have killed him. It’s not fun if not hardcore. We will let it slide. Once.
-
Aiden1980Amazing and entertainingI listen to to it the day it comes out
-
Dan DordA good dnd podcastI have listened to a lot of dnd actual play podcasts, and discard most of them, even that real popular one. The Homebrew is one of the few keepers. Keep up the good work!
-
ThebarbarianVery Entertaining! This is such a great podcast! I listen while driving to and from work and have laughed out loud several times at the gameplay and narration. Grant, Austin, Cody, TJ, and Pippin do a great job with their characters and keeping the story going. I look forward to their shenanigans in the future and can’t wait to hear the next episode!
-
belmontzombiedadMy favorite podcastThe crew role plays very well as the narrator paints the sci-fi world before you. It’s got everything that you’d want in a good dnd podcast humor, epic battles, puzzles, great character development. Myself I binged watched this whole podcast sitting on the edge of my seat every episode.
-
J_L_C_Great PodcastLove the futuristic setting.
-
Kinda Guy335Great group to listen toI just started listening about a three weeks ago and listen to the podcast when i am driving to my boyfriends house. Its always something im excited about and have to stop myself from listening while im not driving. Great podcast!
-
TrollocopFantasticBeen listening now for a while, and I love you guys! Trying to work on getting some extra money around to help support you but in the meantime I’ll do what I can! The implementation of a space-sci-fi setting is truly unbelievable and unique I love it! I wasn’t big into space stuff but this changed my mind in its entirety! Grundle has to be one of my favorite PCs. Frankie was probably my favorite NPC. And I love how Grant keeps the image of Sal still being around, munching on some good berries every so often. Bravo guys and keep up the good work!
