Love the podcast! Not sure if recommendations are open, but I’d love a season on Vivien Leigh

Entertaining and educational, Hollywood-ography is a fun podcast to listen to for any cinephile. The hosts have great chemistry with one another and always provide wonderful context and opinions regarding the films they cover. I feel like I’m learning something new with every episode. I’m a huge fan of the works of Natalie Wood, so it is amazing to see someone dive into her entire filmography for a full season of a show.

Insightful and engaging, the hosts cover each film discussed with depth. I always learn something, and I consider myself somewhat schooled in the realm of classic film. Not as much as these two wonderful women, and grateful they chose to share their passion and knowledge in this manner. Give a listen you won’t be disappointed!

Maureen Lenker and Oriana Nudo are so fun to listen to. I love learning about Old Hollywood and every detail and nuance of films and their stars (Natalie Wood so far). I’ve been following Maureen’s work at Entertainment Weekly and this is truly an amazing addition. The hosts have a lightness that makes me feel like I’m sitting in my living room chatting with them over elegant cocktails. So fun. Definitely check it out. *Reminds me of You Must Remember This. The hosts have a great chemistry and clear passion for the stars and films they discuss. I really appreciated how much info and set stories they share from their thorough research, especially with films I am less familiar with. It works whether you want to learn more about a film, an actor, or a time period that can never be recaptured.

I’m two episodes in to Hollywood-ography, and I can already tell this is going to be one of my favorite podcasts! Maureen and Oriana have a truly infectious love of classic film, and I’m so thrilled to listen as they share their extensive research on one of my favorite stars. I also love the format of this show- it’s fun to go in order and see how a star’s career progresses linearly, but I could also imagine tuning in for just a particularly favorite time period or movie. If you love classic film, you’ll definitely love this podcast.

One episode and I know this is gonna be a great show. These ladies have great rapport, and are incredibly knowledgeable! Love the history they relay.

It’s early - but these two have already thrown out more information than I ever knew about Natalie Wood and had an intriguing breakdown of her first film!
