Topics and Vocabulary I Didn’t Know I Needed!
As a new stepmom you see and have feelings you can’t quite define - this podcast helps me wrap my head around what I am seeing and feeling. It is great to feel seen and know I’m not alone❤️

    Highly Recommend ! ✨
I’ve been listening to this podcast almost since the beginning and I think it’s fantastic! The advice Kristen gives, the guests she speaks with and the topics she decides to approach always have my interest as a stepmom of almost 6 years! It’s always thoughtful and tangible advice and you know you’ll feel seen or heard with each episode. I highly recommend this podcast to any stepmom who’s struggling or just wants to hear another more affirming perspective. Kristen is kind and real, the delivery is comforting and it’s been awesome listening to. I enjoy seeing the evolution of her podcast and her podcasting style over time. I can’t wait for the next season and I hope you give it listen. Add it to your weekly podcasts, and then go out and share with a stepmom friend, your partner or a bio mom who may need to hear this perspective!! You won’t regret it! ✨

    THIS! All of this!
I have been a full time stepmom to 4 children for the last 10 years. While I certainly had some struggles early on, it’s the teen years I am really finding challenging. I can absolutely relate to all the emotions you express. But the 5 Things I Want My Partner to Know NAILED everything I’ve been wanting to express to my partner but couldn’t put into words THANK YOU! Would love an episode on parenting teens.

    I feel seen
Thank you for sharing the good, the bad, and the ugly of being a stepmom! Especially a childless stepmom. There is no way on earth I would have ever imagined what I was signing up for, but now I know I’m not the only one going through these struggles or feeling the things I do. Thank you for the honest and helpful advice!

    A delight
What don’t I love? Her blogs, her emails, her podcast, and her solid advice. Kristen is warm and wonderful, with so many “ha” moments. I am grateful she forged the way ahead of me, and came back to show me the way with humor, encouragement, and experience. I’ve never dealt with a man’s high conflict ex before, and I’m immensely glad to have this support. I’m so much happier!

Awesome, useful tips for step parenting
Kristen is an encouraging champion for parents finding themselves in the role of step parenting, especially moms. She speaks authentically from her own experience and doesn’t hide from the hard issues. You’ll want to add her to all your podcast playlists!
