Love this show. I’m a supporter of a caregiver and this show has really helped me understand what is going on for both the caregiver and patient. Love that the shows are relatively short and well-focused on super relevant topics, with extremely concrete options for how to handle the various challenges.

I can’t even begin to describe how much this show has helped me navigate the dementia waters with my 84 year old mother. There is a wealth of information in these episodes to make your journey (hopefully) a little less rocky. I was at my wits end trying to find answers and suggestions as there are little to no resources in my area for dementia care and this podcast was a godsend.

This podcast is so helpful and validating. It explains things I have observed about my husband’s dementia but wasn’t sure so was perceiving correctly, and offers simple advice on how to handle those situations. I found this episode on “showtiming” particularly valuable.

This podcast is a great resource, as well as the show notes for starting the conversation about dementia with the loved ones in your life. The website has helpful tools and resources as well. We have used, Jessica, the dementia guide to walk us through contacting the VA for benefits, finding respite care, and contacting the county to find resources to help us on our journey with dementia! She was very prompt and organized and went well beyond what we expected. We can’t recommend Dementia Down the Hall enough!
