aa X dznFinally! An Astrology Pod w a Geopolitical OutlookThis is a concise summary of the various mentalities of the current political powers and the way it can impact your personal life.

jessheadingtonToo much politicLet us have a break from politics girls pleaseee. I can’t take it anymore. We need a break for everyone’s mental healthy. It’s really interesting content but it’s so heavy with political topics that it seems so draining to listen to.

megmessinaFascinating!I’m so thankful for all the work Chani and team put into these episodes. They’re informative, digestible, and just absolutely fascinating. What a helpful tool to navigate and make sense of this time in the world. 💛

Heather InnusaChani & the Team Continue to Meet & Speak Truth to This Moment. Thank you.I am thankful thankful for the Chani app & Chani’s podcast(s) as a very important tool in my tool belt of life!! Chani & Team have been a constant, supportive & encouraging word in my ear for quite some time now. I love hearing the girls’ perspectives on past & current events/transits. I am so thankful at the way this team continues to innovate, pivot, & generously share their wisdom with us. Love this podcast. I appreciate the way they look at the future & past without rose-colored glasses on while still encouraging us to move ahead with integrity. Not 👏🏼to 👏🏼mention 👏🏼they 👏🏼PAY 👏🏼their 👏🏼people 👏🏼 while supporting female & survivor entrepreneurship. The $100 yearly that I spend on the Chani app is some of the best money that I spend (ON MYSELF) annually. I’m happy it goes towards putting more goodness like this out into the world! Thanks Chani and Team.

people give people a bad nameDisappointedSick of the angry, white man hating and whining. Too political and out of touch.

AnarayeIt’s good but can get polarizingI love Channi and have been listening her for years. But the latest episode just rubbed me wrong. It is hard to listen to the nitpicking of Kamala over Palestine. It’s a horrible situation. No one wants genocide. No one wants children to be killed. No one wants to fund death! But she frames it as a zero sum game where if Democrats aren’t 100% perfect than forget it. We can talk all day long about the inherent flaws in a two party system. But we don’t live in a utopia and the complexity of world politics is incredibly hard to navigate. I appreciate her passion for Palestine and freedom/safety for all people. But spending twenty plus minutes on this was unnecessary.

Hotty9874444The political bias is super offputtingI love your insights Chani and I think you’re an incredible Astrologer, but when it comes to speaking of politics and astrology its uncomfortable. I feel that one of the greatest things an Astrologer can do when sharing information, is have some objectivity when delivering information. It is clear that you cannot hide your disdain for a certain political figure, but it comes off as childish and biased when you’re delivering the Astrology around the canidates. I believe when we’re speaking about anothers persons personal Astrology, we need to be respectful. One’s birth chart is sacred and deserves respect, and kindness. I believe as an astrologer, it is a duty to give people the facts, without tainting information with our own personal opinions and political viewpoints. This echoes so much of the misinformation and agendas that are being pushed throughout the media right now. I was probably one of the handful of people that had the opportunity to listen to the podcast that you released on July 15 , two days prior when President Trump had his assassination attempt. I know that this recording was taken down and I can understand why because, the first five minutes of it were absolutely distasteful and disrespectful. If you’re so proud of your opinions then why did you take it down?

BrookinkskMore like NPR with a hint of astrologyThe audio is suboptimal which makes these hosts sound like frat kids sitting at their dorm room. There philosophical conversations about world peace and political biases are exhausting. If there was more astrological discussion, it may be worth the time.
-
3 Moon GoddessLooking forward to the next episodeI was deeply moved by the insightful discussion on interpreting modern times and challenges through the perspective of astrology. I appreciated the empowering reminders to take control of our perceptions and embrace the discomfort that comes with necessary change.

AGK1985My least favorite astrology podThe lack of information and one sidedness and just overall bias assessment breeds hate. I don’t respect these cohosts. Please be more educated/responsible

Cloud52An example of bias confirmation.I have been a long time Chani supporter. What an remarkable astrologist! And I believe not one of these people were alive during the student protests in the late 60’s. I was. What a difference in student behavior. Hamilton Hall - simple misinformation. I was at UCLA and a dear friend active at Columbia. Please check your facts. No windows broken, camps behaved very differently. And both of us have been dissed by younger women for our view of the current student behavior. Additionally, you are blithely ignoring the hideous truths about Hamas. If you wish to revel in Israel’s missteps and bad behavior, do the same with Hamas. All of this to say your forecast and discussion are “eclipsed” by a lack of awareness and understanding. Maybe all of you might want to contact someone who was there.

Domilove1Thank you for a wonderful conversation!Chani Team! Thank you for such a wonderful episode and series! The conversation for today’s issues is something I treasure. It helps my heart to zoom out to an astrological perspective. Your perspectives are very important. Thea & Eliza do a wonderful job and I love having them as hosts with you, Chani. They’re perfect, just the way they are! I hope our country (the U.S) remains safe and whole and that the radical changes mean increased civil rights. We love you out here on planet earth!! Especially us Taurus ascendant and stellium (led by Saturn and ending with Mars in late Taurus now) folks. Uranus has done a number on my health as it conjuncts Jupiter on top of my mellow Mars. But I’m very aware I wish I could do more. Thank you for your wise voices out there as it is giving me permission to attend to my personal life during a very political season. Pushing back against authoritarianism seems important to me. Looking to see and becoming more aware of the actors with their alphabet of authoritarianism seems important as we head into Gemini influences, beginning with Jupiter. I hope Jupiter in Gemini begins to bring some justice. Many kudos.

areyoukiddingmeechani needs different cohostsNo hate to the cohosts, but I think this pod would be a lot better if chani had cohosts who were more on her level of astrological expertise and experience

jester-to-the-peopleInsecure co-hostsThea & Eliza deliver their commentary with little authority, often sounding unsure of themselves, and struggling to name challenging themes directly, but rather, tip toe around topical issues as if to spare the audience the discomfort of acknowledging the increasingly volatile times we are wafting through, whereas Chani will often step in to say what needs to be said. As other reviews have noted, it sounds like we’re in conversation with a teacher and her trainees - which may indeed benefit some listeners who are newer to the realm of combining political social justice thought + astro-mediumship-forecasting, as the conversation does feel friendly & approachable, but for those of us who have been down this block for a minute, there are no breakthrough insights to be found. Granted, Chani’s overall style of astro-forecasting across all her platforms does tend to skew a bit sweeter & rose-tinted compared to some of her “tell it like it is” contemporaries, maybe offering advice in less “viva la revolution, burn it all down” terms, and more like, “here’s some positive incremental changes you can make or privileges you may want to wake up to,” but thankfully she still acknowledges the realities of the world we are participating in (capitalism, colonialism, fascism, etc), and the worldwide reckoning all are headed towards.

Blessed 111💕BrillianceLove the ability of the hosts to weave us into the as above so below and reflecting how the stars and constellations can mirror and support what’s happening here on earth. Appreciate the historical context and normalizing of astral influences in our lives. Thank you!!
-
Basic white grrrlGreat, but…Can’t give a 5th star because the overlapping conversational style (great to be in, it’s how I talk to my friends) is jarring to listen to.
-
111lpToo many voices at onceEnjoying it so far. My only critique is that Chani seems to finish her co-hosts sentences a lot which can be confusing as a listener. I would love to hear each hosts thoughts/sentences completed. It feels like listening to a teacher-student relationship where the teacher is directing the conversation, but the students aren’t given the space to fully develop their own thought. I understand this is Chani’s platform but it’s confusing as a listener to hear more than one voice speaking at once, I almost don’t know where to focus my attention. The constant vocal agreements (“yea” “right”) overpower the conversation.
-
kurtcobaincrushGreat content but too many speakersThis has really great content but with three speakers often talking over one another it’s too hard for the person who is making their point to be heard. Also, to the person who says “yeah” to another speaker’s comments, it’s disruptive to the listener. Just be quiet and nod of you need to. So I hope they can improve their delivery but the content seems interesting.

Tina802EnjoyedI’m glad I discovered this podcast. I have been into astrology since I had a personal reading written for me when I was ten years old. I learned something about Venus that I wasn’t aware of. Looking forward to future episodes

AshleyB🌀💜My new favorite podcastSo excited for this podcast. I just discovered Chani and I am already a huge fan. I love the concept of analyzing pop culture moments with what’s happening in the sky and I love the ladies and their dynamic. It feels casual but also very informative and conscientious. Can’t wait for future episodes!

Meri-LeighAmazing!Everything Chani touches is gold, and this podcast is no different. Such a fun listen!

Lovely Lady LydiaLoving The First EpThank you for providing more wonderful astro-focused content for my ears. Love the fun vibes and educational bits thrown in along the way! Excited to hear where it takes y’all.
-
Virgo RainbowLove, love, love!I’m so excited about this podcast! I’m in the beginnings of my astrology journey so having these wonderful people in my ears is exactly what I needed. I got really excited when you started talking about music, so please indulge me as I share my thoughts about Beyoncé and Lilith calling out God in the Garden of Eden. One case that could be made for Beyoncé calling out the culture (similar to how Tswift is calling out Scooter Braun) is that Queen B stated her Renaissance album (and upcoming work) is reclaiming music that was originally created by black people, ie. Country, blues, rock
