Sad2saysoNo longer worth the timeThis has turned into just an ad for her multi-thousand dollar course. Sad, when it started out well. (Her book is still useful.)

HiefoeodfhdisoddjrfggsoeGreat information!Love Cathy’s insight and topics of this podcast, I feel seen and inspired!
-
DanielaDimitrovaFantastic!I love this series! There is no real discussion of what happens post-tenure … I appreciate this so much and wish I stumbled upon it sooner :-)

GuesswhatsveganA little infomercial-yI wanted to love this! But after listening to a handful of episodes from different years, it feels like a lot of promotion of paid offerings with relatively sparse new content. I’m going to check out her book instead, which I hear is quite good!

SoMiWSanity-saving!Cathy’s podcasts and coaching have saved my sanity at a time when I wasn’t sure I would be able to continue on as an academic, even as I knew I loved the research and writing that is what drew me to the career (really, vocation) in the first place. I recommend the podcast and Cathy’s coaching heartily to anyone who is struggling to achieve the elusive work-life balance in the professoriate!

LB KleinThe assist you need to amplify your academic lifeCathy Mazak and team are doing the intentional and trauma-informed work to help catalyze women and nonbinary academics. If you’re a doctoral student, post-doc, or faculty member, this is a space for you to grow on your own terms.

alligrace.storyMostly an adThere are some useful tips sometimes but mostly it’s an ad for the different programs offered by the host’s company instead of actually useful information. I feel like it also gets repetitive

kenlei roseThis podcast is amazing!Cathy is wonderful! She is so good at talking about ways to change how you structure your day and productivity in easy to manage pieces with clear and usable steps. The podcasts are short and sweet to be able to listen to on the go and feel energize to take in the day!

AnybodiMost of it is an ad for her programsThere’s a few useful tips scattered far and wide - most of this is just an ad to Get you to join the community or whatever is being sold. And the tips that are found are repeated over and over.

J LaChenayeWhat I needed when I started academiaThis is EXACTLY what I needed when I first started a tenure track position. Cathy’s style is laid back but her content hits the nail on the head. THANKS CATHY!

can relate!!!can relate!!I stumbled on this podcast when searching for a podcast aimed at women in academia, and I'm so glad I did. It's great to hear Cathy speaking directly about her own challenges and yet also encouragingly about how to change not only one's own habits but also how by doing so each of us might (slowly) change the culture of these work environments. I'm looking forward to learning more moving forward. Thank you so much Cathy!!!

_Kari_K_Love this and can’t wait to listen to more!I love Cathy and her work! Cathy is a super positive person and amazing coach who I have had the privilege of working with through her Amplify program. I am excited to listen to these episodes weekly as reminders of the things I am learning in Amplify. I can’t say enough great things about Cathy and her podcast !!!

deborah ann g.Love it!Any woman, especially mommas or planning-to-be-mommas, in academia needs to join Cathy in her mission to change academic culture! Cathy was a committee member for my master’s degree, so I’ve known her for quite a few years now. Her guidance and support during my studies was priceless. She truly practices what she preaches. My daughter was less than a year old when I started the program, and Cathy mentored me through so many ups and downs of struggling to balance studies with raising a child. I am beyond excited to continue learning from this amazing woman and am ecstatic for others to benefit from her mentorship. Thank you, Cathy, for all that you are doing!

Taten S.So excitedThe first episode was great, and I think it’s an awesome idea to frame the podcasts with the semesters. I’m really excited; the Facebook group has already been so helpful.
